Westminster Academy – an inclusive and aspirational secondary school in the heart of London – is seeking a qualified and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our pastoral and SEND team on a part-time basis (1–2 days per week based on successful candidate's preference and availability, term time only).

In this flexible role, you’ll manage a focused caseload of students with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), delivering targeted support and empowering staff to meet diverse learning needs in the classroom. Working closely with the SENCO, families, and external agencies, you will make a lasting impact on young people’s ability to access the curriculum, express themselves, and thrive at school.

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration
  • Experience supporting children or adolescents with SLCN
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • A commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing

The working basis for this position is 1–2 days per week (negotiable), term time only. The full-time equivalent salary is in line with NHS Band 5 £34,521 per annum. This is pro-rated to;

  • £5,905 actual salary per annum based on 1 day per week, Term Time Only
  • £11,810 actual salary per annum based on 2 days per week, Term Time Only
