Year 6 to Year 7 transition 2025
We are looking forward to welcoming our new cohort to WA in September 2025!
We would like to remind you of the following key dates:

Wednesday 02 July: Year 6 Induction Day

Tuesday 26 – Wednesday 27 August: Summer Camp

Monday 01 September: Term 1 begins for Year 7 students

Wednesday 17 September: Year 7 Q&A Evening

Wednesday 24 - Friday 26 September: Year 7 Residential
Induction Day
On Induction Day, your child will have the chance to meet the rest of the year group, participate in lessons and experience their first real day at secondary school.
Summer Camp
The Summer Camp is an integral part of the transition process and offers a fun programme of activities which allow all students the opportunity to adapt and feel comfortable in a new environment, learn routines and systems, orientate themselves in the building, meet the staff, and get to know fellow students.
Westminster Academy Uniform
It is extremely important that you order your child’s uniform from Ace Clothing as early as possible. You will be given the option to click and collect from Ace Clothing offices, or opt for delivery to an address of your choice.
