To celebrate Pride month, teachers have shared some of their work to make lessons more LGBTQ+ inclusive.

Students will have found many references to LGBTQ+ people across all their subjects this month, including ‘the Human Computer’, Shakuntala Devi, and WA’s House hero, Alan Turing.

You can an example activitity above from key stage 3 French. Ms Diot and Ms Rayner were pleased to see how well students responded, showing their IB Learner credentials as balanced, open-minded learners.

A group of WA students have formed a Pride Youth Network and are helping to promote equality and LGBT awareness. Students can contact Ms Rajabali or Mr Chimonas to get involved.
