U16 boys and girls 3x3 teams represent at Junior NBA tournament!

Our borough’s basketball talent was on full display before the Easter holidays as the U16 Boys and Girls 3X3 basketball teams proudly represented us at the Jr. NBA 3X3 Tournament — and they did not disappoint!

The U16 Boys team delivered a flawless performance, going undefeated with a perfect 5-0 record. Facing five different opponents throughout the day, the boys showcased exceptional teamwork, skill, and resilience, earning every win with determination and style. Their chemistry on the court and relentless drive were clear from the first whistle to the final buzzer, proving they’re a force to be reckoned with.

On the Girls’ side, our U16 squad advanced in the tournament due to an opponent disqualification — but make no mistake, this team is more than ready to take on any challenge. With their strong fundamentals, sharp strategy, and confident play, there’s no doubt they would have earned those wins on the court just the same. The girls showed up ready, and while the circumstances may have changed, their talent and competitive spirit remain undeniable.

Thanks to their outstanding performances, both teams will now move on to the next round, where they’ll go head-to-head with champions from other boroughs in a battle to see who’s the best in London. It’s a thrilling opportunity, and our players are more than ready to rise to the occasion.

The Jr. NBA 3X3 Tournament is known for attracting top youth talent from across the region, and it’s clear that our borough belongs among the best. Both teams not only competed but represented our community with pride, sportsmanship, and an inspiring level of play.

Congratulations to our incredible U16 athletes - the future of borough basketball is looking bright!
