Back to NewsPositive masculinity workshop with Tender
Last term, we were really pleased to welcome external visitors from Tender who ran a workshop with our Year 9 boys as part of a project on positive masculinity.
Students took part in a range of activities, including group discussions, scenario-based tasks, and reflection exercises, where they explored real-life situations around peer pressure, respect, emotions, and relationships. They were encouraged to think about different choices they might make and what healthy, positive behaviour looks like in everyday life.
The drawings and ideas the boys had during the workshop were later developed by designer Ellen Bennington into two posters that we are happy to share.
The boys engaged really well throughout, contributed thoughtfully, and showed a lot of maturity during some really open and honest conversations. It was a very successful and worthwhile experience.
