Last week our Year 12 Career Ready students attended a launch event at Paddington Storey Club, where they took part in a communication and networking masterclass.

My experience of the Career Ready trip was excellent. Enormous thanks to Miss Jomaa and Mr Ghaffari, who took us to meet our mentors and spend the day with Johnny and Career Ready. 

The team was very welcoming and informative; they gave us an insight into how to communicate professionally and the opportunities we will have on this programme. They also provided us with the opportunity to connect with new people and start networking from day one.

I really enjoyed meeting my mentor, particularly as he works in my preferred field. In the short time I spent with him, he shared advice and personal experiences that I can see myself using in the foreseeable future. I am looking forward to having more sessions with my mentor and continuing to learn from his experience.
